A Little More About Me
I am a seasoned creative professional born in East London, Eastern Cape Province, South Africa. I honed my artistic talents at Lady Grey Arts Academy, graduating with distinction in 2004. I furthered my education at AFDA - The School for Creative Economy, where I majored in Digital Special Effects Artistry and minored in Animation, graduating in March 2008.
My career began in television as a Video Editor for the nationally aired Home Renovation Show, Project Home. I continued to excel in television broadcasting, contributing to promo scripting, editing, motion graphics, and channel branding for various Multichoice Channels until I immigrated to the United States in 2013.
In the U.S., my passion for graphic design flourished. I served as a Creative Director at a marketing agency in Shreveport, Louisiana, before founding Artifox Studios in 2018. Artifox Studios is a thriving creative design company with diverse clients across multiple industries, specializing in designing and manufacturing buttons, tags, and labels for handmade items using CO2 lasers. These products are sold on Etsy and our website, and the studio remains active and successful.
Since 2019, I have been the Creative Director for CDS Dental Studio, a full-service dental laboratory, where I continue to apply my meticulous attention to detail and love for design. Mentored in art and design by my textile designer mother from a young age, I bring a lifetime of creativity and precision to every project I undertake.
I am also an avid photographer with experience in Flash and Studio Strobe photography. I have expertise in product and portrait photography and have professionally photographed products for clients for digital, e-commerce, and print applications.
